Digital Dental Radiographs (X-Rays)

Dental x-rays are essential to provide the best possible care for your pet's mouth. Physical examinations of the mouth do not reveal disease that is hidden beneath under the gum line and within the teeth themselves.

Radiographs can reveal bone loss secondary to periodontal disease, tooth root abscesses, non-viable or "dead" teeth, cancerous lesions and foreign bodies lodged in the nasal or oral cavities. Teeth can look healthy above the gumline and in fact be affected by significant and painful lesions below the gumline.
